Day 8 Taking Action
Today I finally posted a video. I have a week of catching up to do. But I have loaded up multiple videos queued up. At least I am facing my fears and having new breakthroughs. I am getting better every week. I just gotta fight life harder. I will. I won't quit.

Day 7 - Toxic People (Full Training)
Only a week and I am missing videos. But last week I posted 6 videos and blog posts. I have to be proud of that. That is what I like the most about these kinds of challenges. You do way more than normal even when you"fail." So today I will post just one, but I will catch up.
The reason beyond not feeling like it is that I have a good reason for not posting. I am preparing for my first webinar. YAY. So far it looks go promising. My content is phenomenal but I am still in the process of working on it. I was evaluating the structure of how to set up my business even further. I feel like so many doors are opening for me. In my personal life, the more I say yes to these challenges the better my situations becomes.
Toxic People
Don't let one drop of a toxic person taint your water. Move the cup. Get away from anything toxic. People, environment and even your own thinking. What this video. Grab something to eat and enjoy.

Day 6 - Bible Sermons Can Sometimes be Funny
365 Day Challenge
Today I am kicking butt and taking names because I am working on my customized blog. My kids are looking at me all kinds of crazy like "mommy do my hair." Today was hair day and I couldn't peel myself away until later in the day. I wanted to work the full day like I had been the last couple of days. I'm feeling all of the changes happening. I sense something big is about to hit me in a good way. I just found out I will be able to do 3 songs. I could use them for my videos, etc. So far so good. But the icing on all of this delicious Haitian cake is when somebody demonstrates their growth from working with me. I am getting messages and shout outs from people who see the value in my way of life. The most important part is that they are taking action. I learned how to create a pdf document feeding off of the fact that one of my conference attendees created a wonderful video with my information in it. I am pushing them but they are pushing me. That is truly the best reason why I do what I do.
Also, I am doing what I always wanted to do which is post messages on Sunday mornings from my ministry page. It feels so good to finally properly maximize on the opportunities give to me. This blogging thing is therapeutic. Who knows if I will ever stop.

These Bible Sermons Are Funny
I knew I was a little funny. But in today's video I realized I was crazy funny. In the moment, I am so focused that I don't laugh. Now that answers my question why comedians don't laugh at their own jokes (even the ones in the moment.) I need help seriously. I always say that the Lord knew I was silly and he still chose me. I love what I do. I get to have fun while I do. It is all worth it hearing the gears shift in people's minds after they have heard something I said and quote it back to me. All in all, I was surprised at how rich the information was. I think it would help even the least "spiritual" person. When I think about it my bishop used to say the funniest things like a slang word. I would just cherish every moment like this because it was priceless. One day, I hope people can be half in love with me as I was with her.
Day 5- Pretty Girl Rock Keri Hilson Remix | Christian Girl Rock
365 Challenge
I don't why I am starting to enjoy myself on this challenge but I am. Although it is a little stressful to have a daily deadline, I find it exhilarating to push yourself passed where you have never been before. All of my performance videos need the least editing. That is good news for my weekends. Also, todayPersonal Development Tip of the Day- Needing praise from other demonstrates immaturity. Praising yourself requires maturity. -Jim Rohn
Christian Girls Rock
The girls in the video really had my back. I looked at my performance and can see growth. Lately I haven't been needing little praises from people. Although I have been getting the best compliments on my work. I listen to my stuff and watch myself and I am getting excited. Trust me, every mistake and weakness is already well-noted. So when I am happy, I really am happy because I passed my own test. That's when it hit me. It doesn't matter when people judge me because I didn't pass their test. My test is the only that matters. I know if I studied, was unprepared or not. Anyways, proctors have to qualify. Most people don't qualify to judge you.
I loved Pretty Girl Rock with Keri Hilson that came out years ago. I thought I would put my own swing on things.
This time the video bomber made things more fun. Have you ever been photo or video bombed in the past? What happened?
Day 4 - Video Blogging with the Family - Hanging with the Haines
Hanging with the Haines is a show that I created for me and my girls to vlog. It started because we kept having all of these funny moments that we wish everybody could see. I would try to capture them on camera. That clogged up every mobile device we had. At the end of the day, we never watched and it was all over the place. Being so interested in seeing other people live their everyday lives (like I thought reality TV was supposed to be about), I decided to go for it. I was already doing video. Why not allow people to get to know Ruth "the mom"? Well from the feedback I received we are on to something. At the end of the day, there is never a dull moment (unfortunately for me) in the Haines' household. Let me know if you enjoy it and what do you enjoy about it. Thanks.
Here is episode 6. It really would help you understand everything more if you can just watch from beginning. The show will be posted every Thursday.

Do you think it's good to show a kid how a real water balloon should feel? Would you step in or let them bond? I want to know. Thanks for your comments.

Amazing Thermometer
Everyone loved this thermometer at the "Be Amazing" Conference. It's called the "Amazing Thermometer" and serves as a guide to where you should be aiming to go in life. We live in a society that is taught to survive but not thrive. As self explanatory as it is, I plan on going deeper into the areas of training. It is important to do so because I want you to know what it looks like. So look out for training. If you subscribe to my Youtube channel you should be seeing videos on it. My YouTube Channel has a section just for the Conference material and you will be able to see and hear what the participants experienced.
I want you to know what it looks like to go after your dreams. The reality sometimes is that too many things hold you back. It is time to let go of those negative things, shift out out neutral into positive and become amazing. Leave a comment below on what stage you are currently on and where you would like to be. Happy downloading!

Day 3 (part 2) - The Meaning of Commitment
"Commitment is doing the thing you said you would do long after the feeling has long left you."
I don't know who exactly said the quote this way but it has stuck a chord with me over the years. Little quotes can make big results. That's why we memorize them.
Today, I released the first episode of Energized Wednesday--Season 2. As I was watching it back, it was clear that I had really grown since the first season. My delivery was better, the pace was faster, editing was better, I was naturally excited. (I couldn't be that excited, if I had not been so unexcited before.)
I was committed to creating and putting out the content every Wednesday. The problem was I wasn't on time. I waited until Wednesday to edit a video and I was just frustrated overall. So after a break, a new setting, a new challenge, a new ME, I got better results. No, it was good. I talked to myself. I did slow motion. It's a masterpiece because I fearless. When I was editing it I felt it "Now this is how you do video." I was light but serious at the same time. I was ME. This conference was an eye opener of my potential for greatness. You saw a lot of confidence because it's really there now. Not that I wasn't confident in what I said in previous videos, but that I wasn't 100% sure how helpful it would be to them. Maybe I was just another :go-get-it" speaker. But now after the feedback from a live event, I realize that the information that I give is priceless. I speak from my own experience which is what helps me in other speaking arenas. Using my experiences in business, I can change the world because I am fearless in what I have done and what I will do. Fearless to me doesn't mean I don't have fear. It's means fear doesn't matter any more. I keep going no matter what.
The meaning of commitment is to do it no matter how you are feeling. Too many times our emotions get in the way of our success. Day 1 was supposed to be Sunday. But, I really didn't feel like it. I made up in my mind then that would start this challenge and not miss any days whatsoever. So back up videos must be done and back up blog posts; whatever it takes.
I am committed to this year of growth, learning, and development. I can't wait to share what I have learned in this online and business arena. I can't wait to share my past experiences. But the only way I can do all of that is if I am committed to this process. What are you committed to? Leave a comment.
I got the best review ever! They just keep getting better.
Wow-I am truly amazed. I always knew that u were intelligent because that just run through yr veins-but I must say that your spiritual insight so much more surpasses it. My mind was challenged n motivated and my spirit was quickened and stirred! I thought that Scandal was going to be the high point of my week but it has indeed been Energized Wednesday...I can truly say that today I have gained a new friend. Thank you for walking in God's calling for yr life. I have truly met God today through you-Congratulations in all of your endeavors.
Elene M.B. - from PA
You heard it people it's better than Scandal! (It actually helps you create a better life instead of watching someone else's). All of that to show that commitment does pay off if you don't give up.

Day 3 (part 1) - Video Testimonials
I made the mistake of not including the video for Day 1. But my loss is your gain. I realize that creating videos can be a hard thing to do. It almost feels impossible when you want it a certain way and you don't know enough to make it happen. Or it can be your first time making that kind of video. Either way it can be very frustrating especially when you have a deadline and not to mention-- a life.
So I had to create my first video for this challenge and I was trying to go for something easy. I have tons of stuff that I have recorded in the past but haven't edited it yet. So I had the challenge of getting these videos off of my tablet, which turned out to be not-so-good for audio quality. Still, I was grateful that I had this option available because my camera wouldn't charge.
With midnight looming on Day 1, of the 365 day challenge, I decided to sit and figure it out. When I got the chance to sit and edit the video, a lightbulb went off. This editing stuff was easy. All I had to do was sit still enough for long enough and after a couple of hours-- I'm done.
I loved these video testimonials. I had just completed my first main event in this personal development arena and people loved it. But I didn't really know much they loved until I watched the video testimonials. All of the hard work was worth it. I know moving forward, this video is worth more than my own commercial because real people are endorsing me and the training.
This is something I wished I did when I owned my daycare. So it's almost like a "to be continued..." It's always great to pick up where you left off and grow even more. If I had done a video back then, I wouldn't even know how to edit it. So, anyway watch quick video.
I hope that you figure out a way to create video testimonials (even if you have to give something for free) for your business or brand. It will boost your social proof (or social status) and verify that you are worth the investment in time and money to listen to or accept services or buy products from you. It's almost expected these days.

365 Day Challenge - Day 2
Here we are at day two. I did it! Two days in a row. I posted it but it won't release until the morning.
I saw this awesome movie. At the end, even though they got out of the trap they didn't know but they were heading into PHASE 2. I loved it. I feel like lately I have been living outside of my comfort zone, but now that seems to be comfortable. I want to be able to see what's next, not be afraid, and be excited about it.
I can't wait to see myself do more cool things that usually remain ideas. It's time to stop walking and time to start flying.
Watch me in action at the conference.

"Be Amazing" 365 Day Challenge - Day 1
Today is my first day on this year long challenge. I have done 90-day challenges before, but never a full year. It's a really big commitment for something that takes a lot of time to do (editing videos). I guess the 90-day challenges were just a warmup. This time I have a concrete singular goal to accomplish every single day. My goal is to get over the 300 mark of videos. 365 would be perfect. This means I complete the challenge.
I thought that a lot more people could benefit if I opened the opportunity up. So far only a few takers. I hope I am not the only one who follows through. But if I am, I hope to inspire others to do the best that they can. Their best is way better than they were doing before; which was no videos at all. I thought that blogging is out of my comfort zone so that has to be the new territory I cover while I take this ride.
I am so proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and doing the Be Amazing Conference last Saturday. It's Monday and I'm still flying high. Every one that participated said that they loved it. It had a few glitches preparing, but after that it was smooth sailing. Now, I feel like I can speak anywhere and do anything. My biggest concern was if I could speak that long. The truth is I didn't want it to end. I felt like I only scratched the surface on the lessons I have learned. Sounds crazy but it's true.
A while ago, I felt like I had so much information bottled up inside and had no outlet. As time went on, I decided that one day I would create courses to teach others what I know. It wasn't until today (after weeks of having it on my schedule) that I created the first videos. All I had to do was use the two skills I had mastered before: writing an outline and creating videos.
So I conquered one fear and moved onto the next. Now I am blogging and soon my website will be done. Words can not express how good it feels to go the right direction even when it sometimes seems terrifying.
So if anything, do whatever you are passionate about but makes you feel nervous. Do it your own 365 day challenge. This 365 day challenge is a great way for you to keep testing your limits and achieving success at a higher level. People don't realize that there are levels to success and if they don't bust through the first ceiling (videos, etc.) then they will forever be stuck on the group floor.
Post below your 365 day challenge.

COMFORT ZONE - Energized Wednesdays S1 Ep4 (+playlist)
Comfort Zone - The Four Zones of Success
The hardest thing to do is get out of our comfort zone. This comfort zone keeps us from trying things that makes us feel uncomfortable. If you ever want to achieve the level of success you have always imagined, then you must LIVE outside of your comfort zone.
You will have to do things that you are afraid to do. Things you have never done before. Success requires growth. You can't stay where you have always been. Adjust the way you think or what you have been doing. Success requires change. Change may as well be a four-letter word the way some people react to it. Change into the person you need to be in order to get what you have never gotten.
Accept the challenge to change. Accept the challenge to stretch yourself beyond your limitations. You may find it that it is where you begin to live. If you live life scared, it shows up in your results. You can make excuses or you can have results. Results mean the life you want, not just the life you are living.
Decided whether or not you want to be more successful than you could ever imagined. Then accept that you will have to come out of your comfort zone. Break out what has been holding you back because you were afraid to mess up or that people will judge. Most likely they will look up to you because you are doing what they don't have the nerve to do.
